TOURNAMENTS IN TORONTO THIS WEEKEND
THE ACADEMY WILL BE CLOSED THIS WEEKEND (JUNE 17th - 18th) FOR THE BRAVADO JIU-JITSU OPEN AND THE ONTARIO SUBMISSION WRESTLING INVITATIONAL. DETAILS BELOW
There will be two tournaments this weekend in Toronto, Ontario. Both will be held on Saturday June 17th.
Many of us will be leaving Cleveland on Friday to travel to Canada. Accommodations are at:

The first tournament, to be held during the day on Saturday, is the Bravado Jiu-Jitsu Open.

This is a GI TOURNAMENT but divisions will not be separated by belt. Rather, they are separated by weight:
Weight Classes:
less than 140
140 - 155
155 - 170
170 - 185
185 - 205
205 - 225
225+
and by years of experience:
Skill Divisions:
Novice = < intermediate =" 1-3" advanced =" 3+">Weigh-ins are from 8am - 10am on Saturday, so if you are competing, you will need to drive / fly to Canada on Friday. The tournament begins at 11am for adults.
Rules are typical Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu rules and the tournament costs $55.00 to enter.

This is an invitation-only no-gi tournament, with single bouts on the card.
